HVAC Service Technician Role Overview

Carrier is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our field service team. This dynamic role involves independently diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial HVAC systems.

In this position, you will:

  • Diagnose and repair various HVAC equipment and components, including air-cooled and water-cooled systems, hydronics, and piping systems.
  • Maintain accurate field service reports, including refrigerant tracking and timekeeping logs.
  • Operate equipment vehicles, including forklifts, and load and unload trucks.
  • Communicate professionally with coworkers, subcontractors, and customers.

Requirements for the HVAC Service Technician Position:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 5+ years of Commercial HVAC experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Forklift Certification
  • Must possess a Type 4 - EPA Universal certification
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
