About the Role:

As a seasoned landscape architect, you will be responsible for leading our landscape division and driving its growth. This is an excellent opportunity to have a wide-ranging role within the company and rapidly advance your career.

You will lead project programmes and budgets, produce LVIA's and landscaping layout plans & masterplans, conduct site visits and photography, and proactively bring in new business to grow the landscape department including building a team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and lead a new landscape division to provide services on strategic infrastructure and renewable energy projects
  • Develop and deliver high-quality LVIA's and landscaping layout plans & masterplans
  • Visit sites and capture compelling photography
  • Pursue new business opportunities and expand the landscape department, including recruiting a team
  • Manage work enquiries, prepare bids, and foster strong client relationships
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and engage with stakeholders
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute field surveys, analyze and interpret other disciplines' survey results using approaches such as biodiversity measures
  • Design and coordinate landscaping schemes
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Exceptional report writing and organizational skills
  • Experience conducting LVIA's for various project scales
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, GIS, and desktop publishing software
  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of the Landscape Institute (CMLI)
  • A minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience
  • A degree in landscape architecture
  • Demonstrable extensive landscape knowledge
  • Strong commercial acumen to attract new business
  • Able to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team and independently to achieve targets
  • Willingness to travel for project work
  • A valid full driving licence
