Job Title: Part-Time Community Outreach Supervisor

The role of the Part-Time Community Outreach Supervisor is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead a team in providing support to adults with intellectual disabilities. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for managing staff teams, leading and supporting individuals to develop person-centred opportunities.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, with experience of working with adults with disabilities in developmental, educational, training and/or work programmes. They will also have effective team management and change management skills, as well as a strong commitment to person-centred planning using a human rights-based approach.

A relevant third-level qualification to QQI level 7, such as Social Care or Allied Health, is required for this role. The ideal candidate will also have a full manual driving licence and be willing to use their own car.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team to deliver community outreach services
  • Develop and implement person-centred plans using a human rights-based approach
  • Provide support and guidance to staff to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
