We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our inpatient team dedicated to supporting older adults with complex mental health needs, particularly those with dementia-related conditions.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive OT assessments, designing and implementing compensatory strategies, and facilitating individual and group programmes within the inpatient setting.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality OT assessments focusing on function, cognition, and daily living skills.
  • Develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans to support patient autonomy and engagement in meaningful activities.
  • Conduct specialist seating and positioning assessments for clients with complex physical and cognitive needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and effective discharge planning.
Requirements
  • BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy from a recognised institution.
  • CORU Registration (essential).
  • A strong clinical interest in older adult mental health and dementia care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
