Mercy Quay Ireland seeks a dedicated professional to join our team as a Rehabilitation and Aftercare Service Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and delivering rehabilitation and aftercare services across the Midlands region.

Main Responsibilities

  • Service Delivery
    • Establish and deliver a comprehensive rehabilitation and aftercare service in line with the National Drug Strategy (Reducing Harm, Supporting Recovery 2017 – 2025).
    • Develop and support rehabilitation groups, providing education, information, advocacy, and treatment support to clients and their families.
  • Client Care
    • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments with clients to establish their support needs.
    • Collaborate with the Family Support Worker to provide psycho-social support for individuals leaving drug and/or alcohol treatment services or released from prison.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Compile and report on client statistics and data, ensuring accurate records are maintained on the CRM system.
    • Produce regular reports for the Service Co-ordinator and/or Manager of Day Services, adhering to funding agency requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Familiarity with the National Drug Strategy and National Drug Rehabilitation Framework Document.
  • A relevant third-level qualification (minimum Level 7 or equivalent) in social care, addiction, or a related field.

Skill Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in key working, case management, and group facilitation.
