Senior Environmental Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced environmental professional to join our team as a Senior Environmental Specialist. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in supporting the growth of our environmental services, collaborating closely with a team of experienced professionals.

The successful candidate will have broad exposure across multiple areas within the environmental sector, including planning and assessment, waste management, infrastructure development, and environmental due diligence.

  • Manage and coordinate assessments, reports and other environmental documents
  • Offer expert technical guidance on environmental matters to support project teams and business operations
  • Play an active role in developing and supporting business development activities
  • Oversee and manage the process of securing necessary regulatory approvals

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree qualified in a relevant environmental discipline
  • At least 8 years post-graduate experience in an environmental role
  • Chartered status in a relevant professional field
  • Strong knowledge of planning, environmental and waste management legislation
  • Proven experience in preparing reports and license/permit applications across diverse projects
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • A flexible, collaborative, and team-oriented approach
  • Excellent technical writing and report reviewing skills
  • Experience in engaging with external stakeholders, regulatory authorities and sub-contractors
