Site Clerk Job Summary

The Site Clerk plays a pivotal role in setting up and coordinating site offices. This position requires close collaboration with a team of professionals to ensure seamless administration functions are uploaded to company systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data entry for BC(A)R throughout the project duration
  • Material ordering and submittals
  • Update weekly material registers
  • Update weekly plant registers of owned and hired plant separately

In addition, the Site Clerk will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with day-to-day site management, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and work of subcontractors
  • Coordinating aftercare/snags onsite – link between site management and aftercare/snags management
  • Keeping a tracker of all snags through all stages of the project
  • General assistance with Health & Safety tasks, including collation and reviewing Safe Systems of Work forms and obtaining sub-contractor safety documentation

Requirements:

  • Relevant Qualifications in Construction/Project Management (desirable)
  • Previous experience as a Site Clerk / Site Administrator / Site Secretary / Document Controller
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
