Job Description

As a Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading the development and implementation of strategic procurement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the supply base to optimize value, mitigate risk, and ensure quality and cost-effectiveness by collaborating with business units.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions in consultation with the legal department, aligning with company priorities and business requirements.
  • Design and implement category management strategies that drive value through cost savings, improved cash flow, and efficiency gains.
  • Represent Procurement by participating in organizational decisions with significant short- and long-term impact on success, efficiency, growth, and results.

A typical day may involve collaborating with team members to manage discussions related to strategies and aligning category priorities with Procurement management. You will also take direction to drive value and represent Procurement in organizational decisions.

This role requires strong relationship management capabilities with collaborators and suppliers. You should have experience in supporting global supply market evaluation processes using market intelligence, risk, compliance, and financial assessment tools.

To be considered, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study and relevant, progressive experience in procurement, including experience in the Pharmaceutical industry.
