About the Role

Senior Statutory Accountant
  • We are seeking a highly skilled senior statutory accountant to join our team, responsible for providing expert guidance on financial reporting matters and regulations in the US.

This role requires a strong background in multi-national accounting with expertise in US GAAP. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to develop key relationships and support junior team members' development.

The ideal candidate will possess at least 4 years of experience in accounting, including 1 year in a statutory accountant role. They will also have strong knowledge of US GAAP and ability to translate between US GAAP and IFRS.

In this challenging role, you will take lead on client engagements, managing budgets and ensuring high-quality delivery. You will also deliver comprehensive training and support materials for client workshops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of financial reporting matters and regulations in the US;

  • Contribute to new business opportunities and assist with proposal processes;
  • Take lead on client engagements, managing budgets and ensuring high-quality delivery;
  • Deliver comprehensive training and support materials for client workshops;
Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience in accounting, including 1 year in a statutory accountant role;
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ability to translate between US GAAP and IFRS;
  • Effective research skills to convert complex accounting matters into clear deliverables;
