Chief Financial Strategist

The Michael Moore Group seeks a seasoned Financial Controller to lead its financial operations. This key position will be responsible for the overall financial strategy, ensuring effective management of the finance team and delivery of high-quality financial reports.
- Manage the finance team, overseeing internal and external reporting requirements.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with statutory auditors to ensure audit requirements are met in a timely manner.
- Lead taxation affairs, working closely with tax advisors to optimize financial outcomes.
- Develop and implement financial controls, ensuring their effective application throughout the organization.
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance on technical accounting matters to the accounting team.
- Present monthly Management Accounts to stakeholders.
- Liaise with Brands to maximize incentives and ensure timely payments.
- Report Brand performance on a monthly basis.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including PAYE, PRSI, VAT, and Corporate Tax.
Requirements:
Candidates must possess a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, along with a professional accounting qualification.
A minimum of ten years' post-qualification experience in a comparable role within an organization of similar scale and complexity is desired.
