The Site Operations Manager role at our forecourt facility in Kildare is a senior leadership position responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our retail and food environment. The successful candidate will provide overall operation leadership, ensuring high standards of customer service are met.
This role requires strong leadership, organisational and project management abilities to drive commercial and financial performance through sales, marketing and PR focus.
Responsibilities:
- Provide overall operation leadership for a busy retail and food environment, ensuring high standards of customer service.
- Lead, develop and manage the site team to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and drive a motivated, productive workforce.
- Collaborate with off-site group functions including finance, HR, maintenance, marketing and fresh food expertise.
- Maintain high standards of site presentation, health and safety, HACCP compliance, and food safety practices.
- Foster a positive, respectful and stable work environment; build strong relationships with staff, suppliers and customers.
- Deliver commercial and financial performance through strong leadership, sales, marketing and PR focus.
- Identify opportunities for site development, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Recruit, retain and develop talent; manage performance and address complex or pressured situations effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years senior management experience.
- Excellent people management and communication skills.
- Experience in talent acquisition, retention and staff development.
- Customer service focused with ability to deliver in a fast-paced, 24x7 environment.
- Strong leadership, organisational and project management abilities; attention to detail and goal orientation.
- Commercial and financial acumen; ability to analyse and manage costs and KPIs.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive, forward-looking mindset.
- Familiar with Health & Safety and HACCP regulations; trustworthy and discreet.
