Overview

Site Operations Manager - Monread Fare is a senior leadership role within the Lidon group, responsible for the operation of the Monread Fare forecourt facility in Kildare. The position is full-time and permanent on a flexible five days over seven working arrangement. Salary and benefits are negotiable.

Responsibilities
  • Provide overall operation leadership for a busy retail and food environment, ensuring high standards of customer service.
  • Lead, develop and manage the site team to achieve KPIs and drive a motivated, productive workforce.
  • Collaborate with off-site group functions including finance, HR, maintenance, marketing and fresh food expertise.
  • Maintain high standards of site presentation, health and safety, HACCP compliance, and food safety practices.
  • Foster a positive, respectful and stable work environment; build strong relationships with staff, suppliers and customers.
  • Deliver commercial and financial performance through strong leadership, sales, marketing and PR focus.
  • Identify opportunities for site development, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, retain and develop talent; manage performance and address complex or pressured situations effectively.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum of five years senior management experience.
  • Excellent people management and communication skills.
  • Experience in talent acquisition, retention and staff development.
  • Customer service focused with ability to deliver in a fast-paced, 24x7 environment.
  • Strong leadership, organisational and project management abilities; attention to detail and goal orientation.
  • Commercial and financial acumen; ability to analyse and manage costs and KPIs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive, forward-looking mindset.
  • Familiar with Health & Safety and HACCP regulations; trustworthy and discreet.
