Sports Development Coordinator

This role is pivotal in driving the Director of Participation's strategy for leading, developing and promoting sports participation and physical activity in Ireland through Sport Ireland's network of Local Sports Partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:- The incumbent will assist the Director of Participation in overseeing the strategic development of the LSP network and other funded bodies.
- Support the implementation of Local Sports Plans, aligning with the National Sports Policy Action 8.
- Manage grant funding administration and payments to specific entities.
- Ensure adherence to established financial procedures and terms.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders at national and local levels.
- Must have 3 years' prior professional experience in a relevant field.
- Effective stakeholder management skills are essential.
- A third-level qualification in sport or a relevant discipline is required.
- Community development and engagement experience is necessary.
- Budgeting and financial tracking expertise is crucial.
- Experience in governance is vital.
- Proven leadership skills are necessary.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are required.
- Strong PC skills and knowledge of MS Office are necessary.
- Experience in multitasking and prioritising tasks effectively, meeting tight deadlines is essential.
