Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations through internal quality system audits.
  • Support audit readiness and participate in inspections both internally and externally.
  • Manage the resolution and close out of issues identified during the audit process.
  • Co-ordinate testing schedules by sending samples for analysis.
  • Monitor trends and prepare daily product quality panels.
  • Report any deviations from standard procedures.
  • Participate in daily meetings to ensure quality metrics are inputted prior to discussion.
Requirements:
  • A primary degree in Science (Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science or equivalent).
  • Previous experience within a similar role in food manufacturing.
  • Excellent technical, organizational, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Working knowledge of GMP and HACCP principles.
  • Competencies in IT-based applications such as SAP.
