As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in managing our stores and ensuring seamless inventory operations.

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee the procurement, receipt, and storage of goods. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic organization and contribute to its continued success.

Key Responsibilities:Purchasing & Receipt of Goods:
  • Manage purchase orders, goods receipt/dispatch, and conduct quality checks with accurate system updates.
  • Unload goods delivered to and dispatched from the depot.
  • Ensure materials are stored correctly in designated areas.
Stock Control:
  • Provide support in developing company-wide minimum stock levels and reorder quantities.
  • Complete stock takes in line with company policy, explaining any discrepancies that arise.
  • Create and accept internal stock transfer requests to and from other company stock locations.
  • Report the issuance of materials to the production floor and complete the job costing process to consume materials into the jobs within the IQ system.
Sales:
  • Manage the order-to-cash process in the depot, including the sales desk and trade counter.
  • Manage active sales orders and initiate the setup of new or changes to existing customer accounts.
  • Assist customers with their queries.
Cash Reconciliation & Banking:
  • Complete the daily cash reconciliation process in the depot and lodge all monies received to the bank promptly.
Requirements:
  • A background in warehousing/production/trades is desirable.
  • You must be a self-starter who works well on your own initiative.
  • Computer literacy with knowledge of stock systems is essential.
  • A full, clean driving license is required.
  • A forklift license is desirable.
  • Methodical and organized approach is necessary.
  • A flexible approach to working arrangements is preferred.
