Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled analyst to join our team, driving commercial, strategic and financial analysis to support deal execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deal Activity:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on large volume transactions.
    • Utilise industry expertise to steer the economic outcome and structure of transactions.
    • Familiarity with corporate business plans and structuring deals to meet hurdles.
    • Perform bespoke financial analysis and prepare ad-hoc financial models for investment opportunities.
    • Independently interpret modelling results and communicate effectively to stakeholders.
    • Maintain awareness of changing needs within internal customers while working deals.
    • Act as a specialist in aircraft lease pricing.
    • Understand aircraft maintenance and technical aspects affecting deals.
    • Evaluate accounting and profit/loss impact of proposed deals.
    • Input into Approval Committee papers for deal approval.
  • Modelling:
    • Transaction Modelling and Analysis: calculate transaction yield returns and present value of cashflows.
    • Model & Process Development: execute team projects to build/improve long term financial models/tools increasing efficiency.
The Person:
  • Numerate individual with passion for financial and commercial analysis.
  • Ability to handle large volumes of data and draw clear conclusions through insightful analysis.
  • Independent operation in a highly pressurised environment, delivering accurate and reliable outputs.
  • Able to articulate complex concepts with conviction and authority.
  • Focused, analytical, and resourceful individual with excellent communication skills.
Skills & Experience:
  • Quantitative degree in finance, mathematics, actuarial, engineering or science.
  • Previous experience in aircraft leasing/aviation finance, with lease pricing experience desirable.
  • Strong numerical, analytical and critical analysis skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and diverse stakeholder relationships.
  • Capable of challenging appropriately and navigating conflict constructively.
  • Highly commercial, thorough and attentive to detail.
  • Track record of achievement and delivering successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic setting while managing competing work streams.
  • Self-motivated and resilient, energised by a fast-paced culture.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and advanced modelling.
