Job Description:Our client is a prominent machine builder and automation specialist seeking an experienced Automation Project Coordinator to take full ownership of delivering bespoke automation and machine build projects.
This high-impact role requires a driven, commercially aware project management professional who can elevate the structure, delivery, and client engagement processes across the project lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in project management within machine building, special purpose machinery, or automation, as well as strong customer-facing skills with the ability to manage complex technical discussions.
They must be comfortable managing budgets, timelines, and multidisciplinary teams, bringing energy, ownership, and structure to project delivery.
A existing network in automation or Med/Food/Auto sectors would be a plus.
Key Responsibilities:- Take full project ownership from kick-off through delivery – planning, resourcing, and execution
- Liaise directly with customers and internal technical teams to manage scope, timelines, and quality
- Drive project delivery schedules, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement project frameworks and reporting tools
