Job Description:

We're seeking a highly skilled AI Research Engineer to join our team and contribute to pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence. As part of our cutting-edge research initiatives, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement novel fine-tuning methodologies for pre-trained models.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing state-of-the-art fine-tuning techniques for pre-trained models
  • Building, running, and monitoring controlled fine-tuning experiments while tracking key performance indicators
  • Documenting iterative results and comparing against benchmark datasets
  • Identifying and processing high-quality datasets tailored to specific domains
  • Systematically debugging and optimizing the fine-tuning process by analyzing computational and model performance metrics

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should have a deep understanding of advanced fine-tuning methodologies, including state-of-the-art modifications for transformer architectures as well as alternative approaches. You should also have hands-on experience with large-scale fine-tuning experiments, where your contributions have led to measurable improvements in domain-specific model performance.

A degree in Computer Science or a related field is essential, with a solid track record in AI R&D (with good publications in top conferences) being highly desirable. Proficiency in PyTorch and Hugging Face libraries, along with practical experience in developing fine-tuning pipelines, continuously adapting models to new data, and deploying these refined models in production on target platforms, is also required.
