Job Title: Mechanical Installation Supervisor

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Installation Supervisor to lead a team of mechanical operatives on-site. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering mechanical installations safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

About the Role
  • Lead a team of mechanical operatives on-site to deliver mechanical installations.
  • Supervise and coordinate mechanical operatives ensuring daily tasks are completed in line with project schedules and quality standards.
  • Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications to guide installation works.
  • Monitor and enforce health & safety compliance on-site.
  • Assist with hands-on mechanical installation as required.
  • Report progress, issues, and resource needs to site management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Chargehand/Foreperson or senior mechanical engineer on large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and pipework.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Valid CSR or equivalent site safety card.
  • NVQ Level 3 Plumbing/Heating qualification or equivalent.
  • Commitment to health & safety and quality assurance.
