Retail Training Manager Position

**Job Description:**
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to become a skilled retail professional. The successful candidate will undergo a comprehensive training program designed to equip them with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in this role.
The training period is anticipated to last approximately 12 months during which time the successful candidate will be expected to work across various stores, manage shifts independently and undergo regular performance reviews.
Key Responsibilities:- Shadow experienced managers to gain hands-on experience
- Participate in classroom-based training to develop commercial and business acumen
- Develop leadership skills through managing shifts and working across various stores
- Evaluate customer service standards and ensure they are met
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to company policies and procedures
The training program consists of several key components including shadowing experienced managers, participating in classroom-based training and developing leadership skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Minimum 1 year's experience within a similar retail or customer service environment
- Good standard of education to include 5 GCSEs with English Language and Maths or equivalent
- A valid driving license and access to a vehicle
- Commitment to successfully completing WSET Level 3 Award in Wines and Spirits
