Job Opportunity:

The Manufacturing Sciences team plays a vital role in introducing new products, transferring technology and supporting ongoing lifecycle management activities. The team consists of passionate, data-driven scientists who lead technical programs for complex biologics including enzyme replacement therapies and monoclonal antibodies.

As a Development Scientist, you will gain hands-on experience with these products, developing manufacturing processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide scientific expertise. Key responsibilities include:

  • Directing and participating in process and product life cycle development activities
  • Establishing analytical methods to support biophysical, solid state and primary packaging characterization
  • Designing, executing and documenting technical studies to investigate product and process robustness, scale-up, stability and degradation pathways for therapeutic proteins
  • Representing the department on cross-functional teams across the network

Requirements include a Master's degree or PhD in Pharmaceutical Science, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biopharmaceutics, Pharmacy or a related field. Strong technical knowledge in Protein, Physical or Manufacturing Sciences is also required.
