Job Opportunity: Traffic Management Specialist

At our organization, we strive to deliver exceptional traffic management services across Ireland.

As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe and efficient traffic flow at construction sites and events.

  • Install and set up traffic management equipment, signs, cones, barriers, and other gear according to established plans and procedures under the guidance of the site supervisor.
  • Monitor traffic flow and respond to changing conditions, adjusting traffic control measures as necessary to ensure the safety of both workers and the public.
  • Operate vehicles to transport equipment and personnel to and from work sites.
  • Perform routine checks and maintenance of traffic management equipment to ensure proper functionality, reporting any issues to the supervisor.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Adhering to all safety regulations, policies, and guidelines while carrying out duties, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Effectively communicating with colleagues, supervisors, and the public, providing clear and courteous instructions and information regarding traffic control measures and diversions.
  • Acting promptly and effectively in case of emergencies or incidents, following established procedures to mitigate risks and ensure public safety.

We are seeking an experienced professional with a background in traffic management or a related field, who is flexible, willing to work shifts during the day or night, punctual, and able to work extensively throughout the country for prolonged periods. Required Qualifications: Previous experience in traffic management or a related field.
