Job Title: Hotel Operations Leader

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead the operations of a busy hotel. As Hotel Operations Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the hotel and ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the hotel's management team to develop and implement operational strategies
  • Assume full responsibility for the property and its day-to-day operations
  • Collaborate with the finance team to analyze financial data and make informed decisions about the hotel's budget and resources
  • Drive sales and revenue growth within the hotel by identifying opportunities and implementing initiatives
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff, guests, and vendors
  • Manage a team of up to 35-40 people on busy shifts
  • Have a hands-on approach to the role and be willing to get involved in all aspects of hotel operations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must have 2 years' experience as an Operations Manager within a busy hotel property
  • Strong knowledge of all departments within the hotel, with a particular emphasis on food and beverage, sales and events, and new initiatives taking place within the industry
  • Experience in training and developing both staff and department heads
  • Proven track record in achieving results and targets
  • Excellent understanding of hotel financials
  • Strong people management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
