Electrical Installation Specialist

Main Responsibilities:
- Install, wire and set up plant machinery and equipment.
- Work from schematics, blueprints and instructions with minimal supervision.
Key Accountabilities:
- Carry out repairs and troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical and packaging equipment.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns and perform high-speed repairs to maintain production efficiency.
- Support new equipment installations and modifications, collaborating with suppliers as needed.
- Adhere to Health & Safety and Food Safety guidelines at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including ordering parts from the stores.
- Participate in training to develop new skills and support cross-training within the team.
- Contribute to maintaining strong performance across the production team and take action when faults occur.
- Be flexible with working hours - the role includes call-out duties on a rotation basis.
Requirements:
- A qualified electrician (relevant trade qualification required).
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical skills or experience in commercial/industrial settings would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well alone or in a team.
- Good time management and ability to handle projects effectively.
