Maintenance Technician Job Description

The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment. Their responsibilities include setting up, installing, and maintaining production machinery to achieve optimal performance and meet operational goals.

  • Provide day-to-day engineering support in a fast-paced, high-speed manufacturing environment.
  • Responsible for monitoring and improving zone/line performance, as well as maintaining and repairing equipment and machinery.
  • Ensure tool uptime exceeds 95% through proactive maintenance and repair strategies.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and lead technicians to develop plans that enhance line zone performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning or underperforming equipment.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of three years' experience as an Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance professional is essential.
  • Possession of a National Craft Senior Trades Electrical qualification or another recognized NFQ Mechanical electrical qualification is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for success in this role.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is necessary.
  • Maintenance Technicians must be able to multitask and demonstrate a proven track record of achievement.
