Job Description

This is a challenging opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment and play a key role in ensuring the effective maintenance of equipment and machinery within our operations.

As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing maintenance activities across various departments, ensuring that all work is completed safely and efficiently.

You will develop and manage long-term and short-term maintenance plans, including emergency response and asset strategies. This involves working closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implementing initiatives to drive continuous growth and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, preferably with a technical engineering qualification and at least 5 years' experience in a similar role.

They will possess excellent leadership skills, operational knowledge, and strong communication and negotiation abilities. A strategic thinker with a commitment to EHS matters, they will be able to motivate and coach others to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Engineering qualification or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in maintenance management.
  • Operational knowledge of CMMS systems.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead towards targets and delegate effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of mining or process industry practices.
