Overview A leading FMCG manufacturer in Co. Meath are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their maintenance team. This is a hands-on role supporting the smooth operation of high-speed production lines in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault finding, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives - all while upholding the highest standards of safety and reliability. Responsibilities Provide technical support across production equipment, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting Respond to breakdowns and carry out root cause analysis to prevent recurrence Complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks in line with schedules Accurately log work using the site's maintenance software system Support upgrades, repairs, and continuous improvement projects Maintain GMP and Health & Safety standards at all times Collaborate effectively with the wider maintenance and production teams Criteria Fully qualified electrician with strong mechanical aptitude 3-5 years' experience in a similar FMCG or manufacturing environment Proven electrical fault-finding skills Experience with high-speed packaging equipment and pumping systems Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Computer literate with experience using maintenance reporting systems Strong communication skills and a proactive, safety-first mindset Reward Competitive salary Pension scheme Discounted VHI healthcare 22 days annual leave + stats Subsidised onsite canteen and free parking Access to Employee Assistance Programme and mental health supports Discounted company products Opportunities for further education and development A supportive, values-driven culture with regular wellbeing and social events If you're a qualified electrician with a passion for keeping production running smoothly, we'd love to hear from you.
