Senior Audit Accountant

A highly respected chartered accountancy practice in Dublin City Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Audit Accountant to lead their audit team.

About the Role:
  • Lead and manage high-quality audit engagements, providing technical guidance and support to junior staff.
  • Work closely with clients to deliver proactive advice and insight on audit-related matters.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring excellent communication and organisational skills are utilised.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, execute, and deliver high-quality audit services to a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Manage and oversee the delivery of audit services, ensuring accuracy, adherence to deadlines, and compliance with auditing standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff, assisting in their development and gradually taking responsibility for building out the audit team.
Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA qualified accountant with strong audit experience.
  • Minimum 34 years post-qualification experience in audit, ideally within a medium or large Irish practice.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of Irish auditing and accounting standards.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality audit advice.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
