Senior Director of Biologics Manufacturing

The role of Head of Cell Culture Operations is a crucial position within the manufacturing organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in the development and implementation of cell culture processes.
Key responsibilities include delivery of production plans, ownership of cell culture processes, and financial control of operational expenses. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for all safety metrics, improvement plans, and risk analysis for the Drug Substance area.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of biologics manufacturing, including cell culture and/or purification. They will also be an active leader in operational safety and championing behavioral-based safety.
A bachelor's degree in biotechnology, chemical or biochemical engineering, biochemistry, or biosystems engineering is preferred. Experience in leadership roles within GMP Biologics Drug Substance operational environments is also desired.
