Role Overview

The National College of Ireland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of National Community Families Senior Coordinator. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for someone looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of families and young children across Ireland.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the implementation and roll-out of the Community Families Programme nationwide. You will work closely with the National Oversight and Support Group, Tusla National Home Visiting Manager, Data Officer, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the programme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the governance, operational, and administrative functions of Community Families National Programmes;
  • Support the implementation and roll-out of Community Families nationwide;
  • Monitor Community Families delivery, quality assurance, and fidelity to the Programme across all sites;
  • Deliver Community Families Training and CPD across the country;
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, including Tusla, HSE, ABC Programme, National Healthy Childhood Programme, and other relevant programmes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:
  • A relevant 3rd-level qualification;
  • Experience of family support, including working with young children and families in their communities;
  • Knowledge and experience of home visiting programmes;
  • An understanding of organisational change and strategies to support it;
  • Excellent knowledge of and skills in relevant IT systems, particularly Microsoft Office;
  • A flexible approach to work and ability to operate as a team player in a cross-disciplinary, integrated team.
