About the Role:

We are seeking skilled structural engineers to join our team. With an expanding workload across various sectors, successful candidates will have broad experience working on public and private sector projects.

The successful candidate will be part of a highly experienced team that supports the growth and development of talented engineers. They will be involved in designing structures, preparing and reviewing structural analysis and design calculations, assisting with drawing preparation for conceptual and detailed design, as well as conducting regular site visits to ensure construction meets design specifications.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • A strong analytical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles.
  • Demonstrable buildings-focused structural engineering design skills.
  • An ability to work constructively in a team environment, finding holistic building design solutions.
  • Performing site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, quality, and adherence to specifications.
  • Ability to understand commercial implications of design decisions and strive for efficient structural solutions.
  • Proficiency in IT and MS Office, with experience in CAD and structural analysis software an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, planning, organisational, and time management skills, with the ability to balance tasks and prioritise to meet strict deadlines.

Benefits and Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-6 years' experience in structural engineering.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A Level 8 Civil / Structural Engineering Degree (Hons) and working towards Chartered status with Engineers Ireland.
  • Customer-focused with growing client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to mentor junior staff in developing their technical expertise.
  • Display leadership qualities and a desire to develop client relationships.
  • A current driver's licence is desirable.
