An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Springfield Centre in Mullingar. This community-based post covers Longford/Westmeath areas, and you will work closely with another Senior OT and a dedicated team of professionals to enhance the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities.
Your key responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing and implementing intervention plans, and providing clinical leadership and mentorship to junior therapists and therapy assistants.
The ideal candidate will be a CORU-registered Occupational Therapist with a minimum of three years' post-qualification experience, including at least one year in adult disability services. They will also have strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as experience in mentoring or supervising junior staff.
A competitive salary and benefits package, including ongoing professional development opportunities and regular clinical supervision, is offered to the successful candidate.
