Clinical Nursing Manager I Position Overview

As a seasoned clinical nurse manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care and service excellence within our dynamic healthcare environment. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of healthcare through innovative practices, clinical leadership, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with CNM II to coordinate, assess, plan, deliver, and review service user care by all staff in the designated area.
  • Provide safe, comprehensive nursing care to service users within established guidelines and standards.
  • Assist CNM II in maintaining bed management and patient flow, ensuring seamless transitions throughout the care continuum.
  • Lead and implement quality improvement initiatives, driving continuous enhancement of care delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, carers, and multidisciplinary team members to foster a culture of open communication and respect.
Requirements:
  • Registered or eligible for registration in the General Division of the live Register of Nurses kept by NMBI.
  • Minimum 3 years qualified experience in Medical Nursing, with prior management or deputising for CNM II experience highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of professional and clinical leadership, demonstrating evidence-based decision making and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
