Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Health Informatics Manager to join our team at HSE West North West. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare technology and data management within our organization.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Maternity IT systems, providing education and training to end-users, and leading the implementation and management of new clinical systems. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing Quality Assurance Programs, designing and undertaking audits, surveys, and research duties as required.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the Maternity IT system in all its versions.
  • Provide IT education to clinical, midwifery, and other support personnel.
  • Lead the implementation and management of all new clinical systems in the Women's and Children's Clinical Directorate.
  • Liaise with suppliers, users, and technical staff during the introduction of new Maternity IT clinical systems.
