Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a leasing team in Business Parks and regional locations.
  • Generate revenue from property assets through rentals and sales.
  • Oversight of negotiation processes for lettings and sales transactions.
  • Manage year-end property valuations for finance and external auditors.
  • Maintain business relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to annual income and expenditure budgeting.
  • Administer capital sales from inception to completion.
  • Liaise with agents and valuers during the sales process.
  • Pursue strategic property purchases.
  • Approve new leases, lease amendments, and PO's.
  • Review minimum rent levels for board approval.
  • Monitor zoning changes impacting company property or lands.
  • Track planning applications affecting company property.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Post qualification experience as a Chartered Surveyor (SCSI and/or RICS).
  • Leadership and staff management expertise.
  • Negotiation skills for new leases and rent reviews.
  • Detailed property valuation expertise meeting legislative standards.
  • Understanding of the legal conveyancing process.
  • Negotiation skills for settlement agreements with trade debtors.
  • Local authority planning process understanding.
  • Clear writing and presentation skills for recommendations and reports.
  • Proficiency in platforms like Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Tight deadline management for client and company requirements.
  • Networking with public and private sector stakeholders.
