About Our Team

Our team works on GIS products, bringing them to life. We collaborate with SREs and Software Engineers to develop innovative solutions.

About the Role

As a Java Software Engineer, you will participate in the entire SSDLC of our Geospatial Risk Assessment Solution. Your responsibilities include:

  • Interfacing with technical personnel to finalize requirements.
  • Writing and reviewing detailed specifications for system components of moderate complexity.
  • Working closely with development team members to understand product requirements and translate them into software designs.
  • Implementing development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.
  • Completing bug fixes and resolving technical issues as necessary.

Requirements

You must have experience with data manipulation languages (Elasticsearch, SQL) and be able to code in Java and Spring Boot. You should also be able to write and review portions of detailed specifications and work with complex data models. Experience working on AWS or Azure cloud platform and knowledge of EKS, Kubernetes are also required.
