Front Desk Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Front Desk Coordinator to join our Front Desk team at Moxy Dublin City.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations and assigning rooms.
- Issue and activate room keys, providing a seamless experience for our guests.
- Process payments efficiently, handling various payment types, including cash, debit, or credit cards.
- Resolve check-out issues, including late and disputed charges, in a fair and efficient manner.
- Respond to guest inquiries, messages, and requests with clarity and courtesy.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure room readiness for check-in.
- Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors with clear instructions.
- Supply guests with directions and information about the property and local areas of interest.
- Run daily reports, identify special requests, and verify report accuracy with attention to detail.
- Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
- Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards.
- Interact with colleagues using clear and professional language; answer telephones with etiquette.
- Maintain positive working relationships with others through effective communication and teamwork.
About You
- Relevant experience in a similar position is required.
- Strong communication skills, with fluency in English, are essential.
- A knowledge of Opera systems is an advantage.
- Excellent customer service skills are crucial for success in this role.
- A professional demeanor and telephone manner are expected.
- The ability to work in a busy environment.
- Fluent written and spoken English is necessary.
- Previous Marriott experience is preferred.
