Senior Financial Accountant/Finance Manager

This role is an excellent opportunity to join a global aircraft leasing company and be part of their financial team. As a Senior Financial Accountant/Finance Manager, you will play a key role in preparing group monthly management accounts, financial statements, and quarterly US GAAP reports.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare group monthly management accounts, financial statements, and quarterly US GAAP reports.
  • Reconcile key financial accounts (aircraft assets, debt, maintenance reserves, security deposits).
  • Record monthly journal entries per the close calendar.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for quarterly reviews and year-end audits.
  • Research and apply relevant IFRS and US GAAP accounting standards.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and tax reporting requirements.
  • Support budgeting, planning, and outsourced corporate service providers.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Enhance accounting processes, controls, and documentation.
  • Assist with financial projects and bank account management.
Requirements
  • Qualified ACA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent with 3+ years PQE
  • Aircraft leasing experience in a financial reporting role would be advantageous
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organisational, project management and communication/presentation skills
  • Proven high level of quantitative ability and ability to problem-solve within tight deadlines
