Senior Contracts Manager Job Description

The Griffin team is hiring a Senior Contracts Manager who will report directly to the Senior Vice President, Head of Commercial Contracts.

Job Responsibilities:

">
  • ">
  • Support Commercial at LOI to Contract Execution">
  • Accurately extract lease information from transactional documents and record details in the CRM system">
  • Manage critical dates (options and other pertinent dates) and communicate key events to the business">
  • Manage Letters of Credit">
  • Liaise with in-house deal teams and external teams (e.g., customers, law firms, manufacturers) in the aircraft delivery/redelivery process to ensure coordination among teams">
  • Escalate and resolve any potential closing issues">
  • Ensure all Conditions Precedent/Subsequent are met in a timely manner">
  • Communicate to the wider business on the status of transactions at delivery and redelivery in a concise manner">
  • Negotiate insurance provisions in transaction documents">
  • Monitor airline insurance renewals, tail coverage and update the insurance system">
  • Monitor insurance claims and ensure necessary paperwork is submitted on time">
  • Lead or participate in improvement initiatives and system development projects">
  • Upload documents to Library">
  • Travel may be required at aircraft delivery events">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Experience in aviation leasing, particularly in aircraft deliveries, is a priority">
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to delegate, prioritize, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects">
  • Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills; able to work as part of a team and on own initiative">
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills">
  • Ability to close out tasks and ensure filing of all relevant documentation">
  • Aviation insurance experience is an advantage">
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel, if necessary">

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience in aviation leasing">
  • Experience in aviation leasing, particularly in aircraft deliveries">
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to delegate, prioritize, and manage multiple projects">
  • Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills; able to work as part of a team and on own initiative">
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills">
  • Aviation insurance experience is an advantage">
