Compliance Lead Opportunity

">The role is crucial in ensuring that all third-party engagements have the necessary due diligence.

This position involves developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive procurement compliance program aligned with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with the Regulatory Compliance & Sustainability Lead to develop and implement compliance frameworks.
  • Analysing and identifying opportunities for ESG considerations within the procurement process.
  • Embedding improvements into the supply chain through risk and vulnerability assessments.
  • Maintaining and updating compliance policies and procedures to reflect changes in regulatory policies and standards.
  • Conducting regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance vulnerabilities and developing strategies against them.
  • Strategically partnering with business areas and stakeholders to implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinating internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of compliance controls and procedures.

The successful candidate will have significant experience working in a compliance and/or risk management role, preferably in the Financial Services or Asset Wealth Management industry.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable policies.
  • Knowledge of compliance management systems and technology solutions.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
