Your new company Our client is a leading player in the Hospitality and Events space in Ireland. With over 15 new brands in over 20 locations across Ireland, this organisation has become a high-end boutique brand nationally. Due to extreme growth within the business, we are looking for a Chief Procurement Specialist to support the Procurement Manager on a full-time basis. Your new role As Chief Procurement Officer, you will play a vital role in the procurement process, contributing to the success of our client's dynamic team.Your key responsibilities will include:*End-to-End Procurement: Assist in sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure a seamless process.*Inventory Management: Take charge of the reorder process for inventory stock*Purchase Orders: Prepare and manage purchase orders with accuracy and timeliness.*Supplier Negotiation: Support negotiations with suppliers to secure the best value for cost, quality, and delivery terms.*Supplier Performance Monitoring: Keep an eye on supplier performance and help with supplier reviews.*Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (sales, service, warehouse) to align purchasing needs with business requirements.What you'll need to succeed *Experience: 2–3 years in procurement or supply chain management.*Education: Qualification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, IIPMM) or currently studying towards one is preferred.*Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong attention to detail and organisational skills.*Background in the hospitality industry is desirable *Bubbly, confident and outgoing personality that wants to excel in their career *Competencies:- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.- Team player with a positive attitude.What you'll get in return Excellent Salary Numerous staff benefits and discountsTwo convenient Dublin locations to work from Access to exciting events and entertainment Dynamic and supportive team environment
