Warehouse Operative Job Description

Our warehouse is at the heart of our operations, and we're looking for a skilled and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team.

In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the smooth flow of goods in and out of our regional distribution centre. This will involve instructing lorry drivers on lane usage and sorting incoming stock, as well as conducting quality inspections and quantitative counting of incoming stock.

You'll also be responsible for recording relevant data, such as best before dates and pallet heights, and labelling every pallet with the despatch unit number.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the uninterrupted flow of goods in and out of our regional distribution centre
  • Instruct lorry drivers regarding lane usage and sort incoming stock
  • Conduct quality inspections and quantitative counting of incoming stock
  • Record relevant data and label every pallet with the despatch unit number
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you'll need to be comfortable with manual handling equipment, such as an order picker forklift. You'll also need a flexible can-do attitude, preferably with experience within a warehouse environment. A good team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment is essential.

  • €15.10 rising to €17.40 per hour after 3 years
  • Unsocial hours worked (12am to 7am)

Working Hours:

We operate two different shifts: 15:00pm–00:00pm & 00:00pm-08:00am. You'll work a variety of shifts to meet the needs of our business.
