Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Open and close the store, ensuring security procedures are followed.
  • Oversee the store during opening and closing times, ensuring a smooth transition between shifts.
  • Support and supervise the team in providing excellent customer service.
  • Assist with stock replenishment, inventory management and merchandising.
  • Handle cash management, including till operations, banking and cashing up.
  • Ensure health, safety and security policies are adhered to at all times.
  • Assist in training and development of new team members.
  • Support the Management team with daily operational tasks as needed.
Requirements

Previous retail experience, preferably in a supervisory or keyholder role, ideally in a fast-moving consumer goods/big box retail setting. Strong reliability, trustworthiness and ability to work independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and time management skills. Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail and store presentation. Comfortable handling cash and ensuring security procedures are followed. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings and weekends.
