Job Summary

The Director of Nursing will play a pivotal part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Leading Ward Rounds: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimum clinical results and maintain a visible presence in clinical areas.
  • Nursing Records Review: Verify accurate representation of resident care and attention by reviewing nursing records.
  • Guidance and Mentoring: Provide consistent communication, guidance, and mentoring to CNMs and staff nurses to promote collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements for Success
  • Certification: Initial registration as a Registered Nurse in the relevant Irish Live Register section.
  • Ongoing Development: Proof of ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Management Experience: Prior experience in management, preferably in a rehabilitation setting, to drive excellence in patient care services.
