Full-time Opportunity for Dedicated Leader
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to fill the role of Person In Charge at our service provider.
About the PositionThe ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in Applied Social Studies or Social Care, with relevant qualifications or CORU registration.
- At least 3 years of experience working with adults and children with intellectual disabilities.
- Proven managerial expertise with a minimum of three years at a management level and an appropriate management qualification of a minimum of QQI level 6.
- Ability to work independently and supervise service users and staff in a residential setting.
- Experience managing residential budgets and behaviours that challenge.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Full manual driving licence.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the needs of service users are met.
- Teaching daily living and social skills through daily activities.
- Maintaining positive relationships with service users.
- Engaging in activities and completing household tasks.
- Keeping accurate records of service user documentation.
This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours based in Kilmallock, Limerick.

Key Responsibilities include ensuring service users' needs are being met, teaching necessary daily living and social skills, establishing and maintaining positive relationships, engaging in activities and completing household tasks, keeping accurate records of service user documentation, and other tasks as required.
