We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our Board of Directors. The ideal candidate will have experience in charity or not-for-profit organisation board membership and governance.
The role involves providing input and oversight of the strategic direction, ensuring compliance with governing documents, and acting in the best interest of the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the development of organisational strategy
- Maintaining strong governance practices
- Representing the organisation at various levels
The successful candidate will be passionate about social justice and human rights, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Board meetings will be held four times a year, with some sessions facilitated via video conferencing.
Job RequirementsTo be considered for this position, applicants must possess:
- Experience in charity or not-for-profit governance
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
