Job Description

This role combines responsibility for project managing prestigious annual events and supporting finance-related projects within the Finance team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate event planning, promotion, and execution of high-profile events
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including sponsors and partner charities
  • Manage digital communications, create engaging content for social media platforms and newsletters

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support finance-related projects, collaborating with the Finance team to meet organisational goals
  • Monitor and report on project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to meet deliverables
  • Identify and escalate risks to project success while contributing ideas for optimisation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience in event management or a similar role, with demonstrated project management exposure
  • Proficiency in social media marketing, using platforms like Hootsuite, MailChimp, and Canva
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of design tools like Adobe and competency in MS Office, especially Excel
