Job Title: Civil/Structural Design Engineer

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil/Structural Design Engineer to join our team in Cork City. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural elements of various projects, including residential, commercial, retail, hotel, leisure, education, and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze structural elements using software such as AutoCAD and STAAD Pro
  • Collaborate with other engineers and architects to develop project designs
  • Conduct site visits to inspect projects and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Manage budgets and track expenses related to projects
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD and STAAD Pro
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
