This is a key opportunity for an experienced manufacturing engineer to join our team onsite in their large Cork campus.

About the Role
  • Process mapping of existing manufacturing processes and development, implementation, and support of recipes.
  • Take a leading role in recipe design sessions with business process SMEs.
  • Carry out testing and change control activities related to the recipes changes.
  • Develop, configure, and test manufacturing batch records from initial to final design.
  • Participate in MBR development design reviews including communicating cross-functionally with automation, lab systems, ERP, and quality groups.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical expertise for the ongoing development of the site manufacturing system in development of MBRs and improving business processes.
  2. Take part in the training of all relevant EBR end-users and the ongoing development, review, and update of all relevant standard operating procedures.
  3. Carry out troubleshooting and fault-finding where required for manufacturing and all relevant interfaces as required.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years' experience as a manufacturing engineer within the life sciences industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, life sciences, or similar.
  • A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and practices within a GMP environment.
  • Broad technical experience in the delivery of manufacturing systems/projects including design, configuration, and testing.
