Job Title: Financial Support Professional

About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to provide financial support and services in Tralee, County Kerry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support senior accountants with bookkeeping, VAT returns, and accounts preparation.
  • Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software.
  • Process invoices, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements.
  • Communicate with clients regarding queries and required documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and internal procedures.
  • Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and submit payroll information as required.
  • Liaise with colleagues and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data accuracy at all times.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organisation skills essential.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a practice environment is essential.
  • CPA/ACCA/ACA/AAT qualified or working towards a relevant accounting qualification.
  • Ability to use Microsoft productivity software such as Excel and Word.
